A program based on popular education that introduces participants to the fundamentals and principles of the co-op model. The program is designed for participants to pursue co-op development in a duo-track format:
An immersive curriculum that will gather relevant cases and information based on the participants and will be co-created with the participants. The training is covered during 4 sessions and consists of 28 hours with an individualized plan to support participants upon completion based on their goals. CCWB will support the developmental growth of Trainers beyond the program who wish to contribute to the growth of the co-op sector in Metro Denver.
Growing the co-op development capacity of Denver is crucial to creating a more equitable economy. Having communities most impacted by economic injustices possess the tools, knowledge, and resources are reasons why CCWB uplifts BIPOC and women entrepreneurs to join. Sharing this information among communities is important given the exclusive and privileged history of co-op development in our country.
Train the Trainer is offered twice a year during the spring and fall. Check the events listing for schedule and registration or send an email to cooperativas@communitywealthbuilding.,org.
