Jeff Shanahan, a mechanical engineer by training, moved to Denver shortly after college and began working for M.E. Group Inc., a national architectural engineering firm focused on energy efficient mechanical, electrical and plumbing design. Jeff successfully managed ground up construction projects ranging from multi-family developments to state-of-the-art high school facilities.

In 2008, Jeff started an investment company - JJS Investments - that began investing in residential properties throughout Denver, as well as a local pizzeria. The pizzeria has since grown from average annual sales of $200k to a chain of five successful pizzerias in Denver locations, which collectively generate over $5M in revenue annually.

Jeff left M.E. Group in 2009 to form a real estate development firm, Shanahan Development, which has entitled nearly $260M worth of multifamily, hospitality, retail, and public transit projects.
